Carpet Cleaning Equipment for Crayon Stain Removal

Carpet cleaning liquids alone cannot remove extensive, deeply embedded stains from carpets. Crayon, marker, and pen stains, for example, require the use of powerful carpet cleaning equipment. The ideal carpet cleaning equipment for stain removal has the following features:

• High Temperature: Hot water is far more effective than cold water when it comes to removing carpet stains and odors. Stains are caused by embedded dirt, chemicals (such as ink), and food particles left on the carpet. These particles cling to the fabric and cause ugly marks and spots on the carpet. Left too long, these stains may even discolor the carpet permanently. This is why they should be removed as quickly as possible. Daimer® offers carpet cleaning equipment in their XTreme Power® series with a heating capacity of up to 210°F. Even the models without heating devices can use hot water for washing out stains and odors. In addition to achieving stain removal, these machines can remove grease sugars, and pet hair from carpets.

• Low Flow Technology: Low flow machines, such as Daimer®’s XPH-9300, use much less water than conventional carpet cleaning equipment. All carpet cleaners sold through Daimer® are designed to minimize water consumption. This reduces the cost of waste water collection and disposal and enables the machines to be used in low water supply areas.

• Strong Wand Action: The quality and effectiveness of the wand is crucial to the removal of stains and marks from carpets and upholstery. Daimer®’s carpet cleaning machines are fitted with stainless steel wands, which are heavier, durable, and more corrosion resistant when compared with other types of wands. The wand is used for scrubbing the fabric and removing dirty, soapy water as it is run over the carpet.
